My nan was not only my nan but also my best friend. We shared our birthday and our life and i miss
her dearly.
Nan your name lives on in my little girl Klaire Esma that i sent to you to protect and raise for me
with all the love you gave me.
A Poem For You Nan
She was not only my nan but my friend as well,
She had been sick before but this time was different my heart so deeply fell.
I remember our chats and school holidays at her house
I remember how special I felt when at me she simply looked!
She cared for me like I was her little princess!!
She taught me that though all I shall be determined..
Without her I will be less
I love how she told me exactly how she felt, in me she’d always confide!
I’ll always remember our happy times and try to forget when we cried
We shared the same birthday, nan and I… that day will never be the same!
I’ll celebrate for her each year, just like she was here!
She loved and looked after her four grandchildren and
five great grandchildren so well.
So nan where ever you are you’ll be loved, for I know you were loved here
You may be gone but you will never be forgotten,
But remember I’ll always love you with all my heart and soul
I am sorry that I didn’t get to say a real goodbye,
But you know I always think of you,
Nan I love you and that will never stop.
